zenith royal 3000 no stations no sound
well i will tell ya all i can
heres what i did I have taken the radio out of the case cleaned the tuner i also cleand the band selector i also cleaned the 2 spst switches. i plug in the head phones i get static i use a speaker i get nothing m i have to get the proper caps ans change a few. maybe thats the problem However I my self thinks it may be a bad transistor. when I purchased the radios the battries were to there power point past the leaky stage however it all stayed in the box
a little got in the corner of the box/radio but no near any electronics as far as i coud see.
I hope this helps
many sincere thanks

I think you need to get your speaker going first, then start injecting a signal and trace it through the circuit to find the bad section. Don't start changing parts until you have verified they are bad.
