Heathkit TC-3 Tube Checker Empty Heathkit TC-3 Tube Checker

I just accquired a Heathkit RC-3 tube checker, with assembley and use instructions, assembled. Anyone know if it's good, bad, so-so? I picked up a Philco tube tester in Lansing last July but it checks only continuity.

Nice little emission tester, lots of tube documentation. Easy to work on, you only need to replace a few resistors and one capacitor and they work like new.

I did a Yahoo search for Heathkit TC-3 manual, and came up with: minudownload.com/ebooks/old-heathkit-manuals-67cqd and they list the Heathkit TC-3 as part of a free large download file of old Heathkits manuals. I hope this helps. I seem to remember having one of these years ago and it worked well.

Sorry, I did not go far enough into their website. The first page says free download, I guess to hook people. The second page reveals that it costs real money. I didn't need any Heatkit info myself, so I assumed it was free.
