This is the second one of this model that   I have owned. The radio has 10 tubes with an eye tube.
The knobs and grill cloth are original.
I worked on the chassis during the winter and got it going.  This spring I did the cabinet.
   After installing the chassis in the cabinet it would not work properly, so I took the chassis out and did find a cold solder joint.
   Now it is together and it ran for an hour with out any problems.
I do like the different kinds of wood that these Canadian radios have
  There are two models of this radio    1029X and 1029 Y.

Very nice Dan! I've never seen the grill cloth done that way in a radio of that vintage. Good work as always!
