A very nice DeForest Crosley; 1933

I picked this one up for $60.00,because of the cabinet.
It is made by McLagan which was a cabinet maker that made quality gramophone cabinets up until
about 1927. Sales for gramophones were falling off so they made cabinets for radios
The model of the radio is 851 and it is called the Mayfair/ York.
This cabinet came out very nice ,and it is a sharp looking radio.
Nothing fancy, but very eye appealing.

Beautiful radio as are all of your restorations Dan! The cabinet kind of reminds me of a Brunswick radio i had a few years ago. I hope it sounds as good as it looks! Thanks for sharing it with us!
