Several times in the past I have re-capped and radio and the volume is low until my hand is placed next to the loop antenna. Then the volume is normal until my hand is removed. What could be the cause and better yet the solution?
I'm currently working on a Crosley model 20-AP with this problem and unable to find a schematic. Any sources?

Open antenna coil, the radio need re-alignment or the signal is low and hand capacity improves it...

It may be the antenna coil. Anyone know where I can get a schematic for a Crosley model 20-AP? I've got another one to restore after this one.

Should be approximately the same as model 20 on Rider page 12-11
