the philco radio
the philco radio
Hi Iam new to this sight this may be a dumb ? but does anyone remember the old philco radio that uses the loctal tubes , When I was younger I use to play with this type of radio, it was very different, it had large tubes with small pins, and big IF cans. I have some of those old tubes it is something that I enjoy just looking at them when everything else goes wrong its another world that was clean & you can leave the front door open & not have to worry about anything. hope somebody is out there that can relate with.

Re: the philco radio
Sure do, Philco built many models with Loctal tubes.
If your looking to own the same model as you remember, got to the Radio attic or the Radio Museum for images and tube types used in the models.
