Fun Project.

Here's a little something I put together this afternoon.  It's a probe extender.

I finally got around to playing with it. I've been writing a new short story. So far the probe detunes the radio and all that comes through is buzz. Not good.

I thought this was a long thread, until I realized most of it was me popping off.

Well, I redid the probe. I'm playing with a radio I know works. Now it does pick up RF but I can't really get a signal until the input to the second IF transformer.

I wish I knew someone else in this area that I could bounce ideas off of, and share experiences. I did meet someone through NA but I've lost his contact info.

I might dig into the tester and replace some caps. The control is noisy and I cleaned it with contact spray and that didn't work. Time for the WD 40. Did you know you can actually drink WD-40, although I can't think of any reason why.
