A new family addition

Yes for Christmas we received a Google Echo from our daughter. The little devise responds to the name "Alexa" and is a treasure trove of information. She will play recordings based on singer or album/cut name. She will answer obscure question to help the wife on crossword puzzles (Who knows the capital of Albania?). She will greet your "good morning" with something special about the date, provides the time and warning timers. When we leave we always say "goodbye", she will respond with differing salutations. Once I said "see you later alligator" and she responded "in a while crocodile".
We get daily world news flashes each morning and stock market results. We are still exploring her capabilities! I know she can remote control special thermostats and A/C plugs.
Anyone else have one?

PS: She is currently playing an album by "The Seekers".
