Crosley Reproduction Record Player
I let my sister in law borrow one of my Newcomb classroom record players. I guess her made in China Crosley record is running slow and is not loud enough. She could not get over how good that Newcomb works!

Re: Crosley Reproduction Record Player
Very few record players work better than a Newcomb. I have a TR-16AM and it still works well 60 years after it was built. Nobody will even remember the Chinese Crosley in 60 years.

Re: Crosley Reproduction Record Player
Your newcomb will sound even better with new capacitors.
I have two complete transcription players, and, five different flavors of the model R-12 classroom phonographs.
I stand by all my newcombs as being among the best. I also have a Newcomb AM table radio. Looking for the fm model.... I'd love to have at least one three way speaker system by them, and, one of the original roll carts for the transcription players.

I'd like to have a Newcomb radio. I have a knob for one.
