If I see one of these I will get it

If I see one of these I will get it, that is if it is not out of my price range. I have seen a few of these pop up. I usually see them about once every few months. It said the 60s but the RCA lettering looks more like the 70s. I may be wrong, I don't remember when they went to this design. Anyway a neat little set. I have a old tube set somewhere with a plastic back like this. But at 225 its out of my price range for a TV set. I think the only thing that makes this special over the same plastic 5 dollar set at goodwill is the wooden case.

RCA swapped to the block letter logo around 1968/1969...

That is a interesting set, can't say as I've ever seen one...

RCA model AP100L is covered in Sams 1127-2, issued approx 10/70... My guess it's a '69 model...

Is this TV solid state? Some of the smaller sets were tube.

My guess it's SS as most of the 9 & 12 inchers had swapped by the late '60s...

Here's something some may find interesting, RCA art work on their tube boxes... Dated 9/60, this box was used until the white and red box dated 4/69, apparently the reverse color were's as recognizable as a year later they switched to red & white boxes... How the tube box time frame compares to logo on actual production sets I dunno, but should be close...
