Tried to listen to Friday night bandstand, and Brian wasn't on? So disappointed. Has the day been changed or isn't it on anymore?

Don't have any radios I'd consider truly vintage, but I do have a Hammarlund SP-600, National NC-300, Hallicrafters SX-101, S38C, and SX-28A, military ARC-5 receivers for 160/80/40 with accompanying transmitters, a Collins designed R-390 and TCS-13 receiver and transmitter.

Re: Re: What are you using for vintage comm receivers?
I have a Hallicrafters s38, I am not sure exactly but it is a 38. I have two more of the 38 models but different versions to restore. I use to have a huge military type about 15 years ago but I gave it away. I am not into them as much as just am radios. The 38 I have going I first got to playing during the gulf war desert storm in the 90s. It was the beginning of the invasion and I found some guy broadcasting there who lived there. He was telling what he was seeing. I remember listening for hours way up into the night.

Re: Re: What are you using for vintage comm receivers?
I always loved listening growing up. It was something special to me when I was trained to service and operate HF/SSB radioteletype equipment in the Army and actually send and receive some of the traffic that I couldn't understand as a kid.
