Solved-B&K RF signal Generator repair

Help! Does anyone know where I can get my B&K E200D signal generator repaired. It is solid state and I think that is what is keeping people away.
It worked really good until it quit. No output on any frequency.

C'mon Bill, I can't give up that easy. I've got an Eico tube model that drifts like crazy and that's after I did a recap including out of range resistors.
The B&K was actually very accurate at all frequencies, and it wasn't cheap. I'd hate to just toss it.

The problem is trying to find someone willing to help. On the tube one, perhaps a tube is bad?? I have a restored tube type one, and, it doesn't drift.
Might be mica caps in the eido that are leaky. I'd replace with new mica caps.
Surely someone out there could help you fix your SS one.
Any takers out there?

I do not work on SS stuff. I do not intend to learn how. But, my thinking is this. How would that signal generator be any tougher to work on than, say, a SS radio chassis or tv chassis? There are guys on here that do that. Maybe they could offer some help? I am with you Bill. His problem is that there are no tubes! I have an old Superior genny that does not drift, either. I think it came over on the ark. Probably from the 1930's. I am not sure I would toss a SS signal generator, but I would certainly consider replacing it with an older tube model. They are just easier to do business with! If the tube signal generator drifts, there is definitely a problem. Probably something simple. They were not designed to do that. Does it have a tube or selenium rectifier? Start with the basics, pretend it's a radio, and you will find and correct the problem.

OK, you talked me into it. I'll give it a shot.

If it has no output start at the fuse,power supply diodes and transformer. It could be something as simple as that. I have fixed a lot of solid state stuff that was dead from power supply issues.

It has power. The crystal calibration still works.

Could be an electrolytic openned, or, shorted. Then, burned a resistor. Only a guess.

I found out how to test transistors and it turns out that three are bad. I just ordered them. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

OK, after testing the transistors properly (out of the circuit) I found one bad. I just received it via Fedex. Installed and working perfectly
