Shipping Records
I remember a while back reading threads from folks that had had their records frapped in shipment. I had wondered about a container that could stand up to the rigors of the various parcel purgatories. It just ocurred to me today. The cases that were used to store the 16mm films that most of us enjoyed in school are available at different times from various sources. they came in diameters that would accomodate unsheathed records with foam sheets between them and around them. If the records are of great importance, they could be sent to the sender for safe transit. This is the type of container I'm talking about.

Re: Shipping Records
I find on disc records the best way is to pack the records between two pieces of heavy cardboard, tape the four sides of cardboard. Then, depending on how manny you are sending, you put them into a box with padding. I've had good luck this way.
