Bill, to answer your question "After all I have done, why quit now?" I can only say to save your sanity! Good luck, you have convinced me not to take on televisions.

That wasn't my intention. They're not all this bad.

Re: RCA Victor -A new dog in the family...... It's Alive!
Update on the tv... Today, I had a father, and, son over with radios they want me to Repair. We were talking. His son says he has 30 years experience restoring furnature. I want to see his work. We are talking about trading repairs of some radios, depends on how manny, for restoring the cases on this tv, and, my favorite radio, my RCA 110K.
It would be great to get these cabinets done, and, with a restored cabinet, and, stand for the tv, it woould give me more interest in finally finnishing it.
Wish me good luck.......

That is some great news. Those sets had some nicely designed cabinets, they would look really nice restored!

Can someone send me a chassis, maybe even a better cabinet, and, back cover for mine? I'll either rebuild it, or, put power transformer in mine,, and, get it playing again. A lot of personal things health wise have happened to me, preventing me from pursuing it, but, I'm improving.
